On 6th Aug.1998, Lieutenant Digvijay Panwar laid down his life for the motherland. He made the supreme sacrifice to preserve our freedom and dignity. He was only 24 years old.
From an early age, Digvijay was an avid reader and has a big collection of books. He was a member of American library center New Delhi. During his time in Army, Digvijay was involved social activities and often talked about the great work Indian Army was doing to help the poor people in the remote areas
